Apple is probably not going to announce the new AirPods 3 and AirPods Pro 2 this year, contrary to recent reports.
Well-known analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said that the release date for Apple AirPods 3 will be in the first half of 2021 , and AirPods Pro 2 in the 4th quarter of 2021 or the 1st quarter of 2022.
Keep in mind that first-generation AirPods Pro is only a few months old, so the 2020 update doesn’t make sense. But since Apple usually updates its products every year, it is estimated that AirPods and AirPods Pro will be updated by 2022.
Ming-Chi Kuo has long made fairly accurate predictions when it comes to Apple data leakage. He even shared specific details about future Apple headphones. For example, that they will have different embedded systems.
New AirPods (which were supposed to be at the March Event) are now ready to go.
Probably alongside the MacBook Pro next month.

The most interesting thing is that Kuo believes that John Prosser and Digitimes are wrong. Because they claimed that Apple planned to release AirPods X on-ear headphones or AirPods Pro Lite earphones without noise reduction.
Apple Insider reported that Kuo told investors that sources had mixed up information regarding the upcoming launch of Beats.
